The Summer of Fiber

I started taking classes last fall in Statistics and after finals week in May, I decided I needed to get in touch with my creative side over the summer break. My nerdy math side was in need of a break.

The first thing I did was get out the knitting because it was something familiar and easy to take with me to the coffee shops in town. Then I dusted off my inkle loom and started weaving bands again. For mothers day my family gave me a Guatemalan backstrap loom. The summer of fiber had begun.
